Yeah… there are so many! I thought I had a pretty cool arrangement of “Mothers Little Helper” by the Stones, but couldn’t sell it to the rest of the band lol.

Almost every Tom Petty and a few Bruce Springsteen songs seem to work…

We also took a mostly unsuccessful stab at “Sweet Leaf” by Sabbath — but I’m not giving up on them — I’ll find one that (semi) works sooner or later!

My old bar band did this a lot. Sublime- What I got, Dire Straits- Walk of life, Georgia Satellite- Change in my pocket, JZ- 99 problems, CCR- Looking out my back door, are a few I remember, of lots more. We also had to cover the Mumford and Sons stuff that was out at the time. Fun times!

Has anyone ever tried , locomotive breath by Jethro Tull ? Train songs and cheating songs go hand in hand with Bluegrass.“ Ole Charlie stole the handle and the train it won’t stop going , no way to slow down “

After taking a shoot at
"In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" I settled on “Learning to Fly, but The Kruger Brothers beat me to it.
