Does anyone know where I can get some original brass-looking brackets and nuts for my 1913 fairbanks/vega banjo. Need a dozen or so.

Bob Smakula, of Smakula Fretted Instruments often has original parts. If you’re trying to match the existent ones, you might check his website. Rickard Banjos also has a good selection of hooks and nuts, tho their shipping things from Canada might involve some customs fees, etc. just now. Again, perhaps still worth a check.
