Female dentist has one that I can see. She is probably late 20s. Was a bit put off when I first saw it then I realized the age that I am and the age that she is. No problem now. She also calls me by my first name which is a bit different from the rest of my medical team as well.

I've never noticed but then I wasn't looking for tattoos. My primary doctor dresses very casually, short sleeves and usually shorts, too. I guess if he had a tattoo I might have noticed it. My internest always has on a white coat, long sleeved, so no tattoos visible. My cardiodlogist also usually wears a long sleeved shirt so no visible tattoo.

I'm headed to the cardiologist next week. I'll try to remember to look. Headed to the primary in 2 weeks so I'll look then, too.

I am not into tattoos...

But to each thier own..
Tattoos would not bother anna near-@s .. much as a bunch of ..body piercings...

I think that it’s VERY unprofessional to see tattoos on law enforcement, fire dept, military, state/city officials, or any other kind of representative, and physicians.

Talk about a tacky fad…but…everybody has the need to feel cool and express themselves…

I mean, I have a few tattoos, but, I was in the Navy overseas….drunk…in back alleys and jails, etc.

Keep the tattoos regulated to Navy and prison…that’s where they fit in and look good.

oh yeah i forgot my cardiologist he has about 5 or 6 on his arms.. but he is young and dresses casual . could be a harley rider on weekends from what he has told me.

I got my first of 34 tattoos over 40 years ago, and last one 35 years ago. All of them were done while enlisted. There was still some shock value back then. There is no shock value today. To do it over again, I would not get any. No tattoos? Now that would be shocking!

i am of the school that guys get tattoos ,,, have for ever,
but women,,, marking up Gods most beautiful creation with tattoos is just not for me.... guess its a good thing i don't have a tattoo shop !

I haven’t seen any on my doctor. I only have one tattoo and she has seen mine. I was drunk and thought it would be funny to get a tattoo on my naughty part………well, you know.    My doctor asked why I would get the word EAT on my member.  I told her it now says EAT , but when I get excited it says .............

This fad has elevated a lot in the last 20 years.. We had a supervisor with a couple of tattoos. Whe he was promoted to area director he was told he had to keep them covered up. That meant long sleeve shirts all summer long.
I don't think tattoos were that common during the 60's or 70's but it was easy to spot world war 2 navy vets. After 20 or 30 years most of those works of art began to look more like blue birthmarks. My friend's uncle was a miner in the Yukon. He recalled brousing into a tattoo parlour in Whitehorse where this really intoxicated customer was getting a bumble bee tattooed on the end of his.....
