That a some banjos can shatter glass and strip paint! I’ve been trying to do that with my banjo but had to resort to a brick and some paint.

One of my favorite myths, is that a death grip on the neck creates more fret wear. It's actually the opposite.This has been heavily discussed here over the years, with some of the more knowledgeable veterans agreeing that’s it’s actually a lighter touch, that creates more fret wear. The more a string vibrates against the fret, the more fret wear. This includes a light touch, slides, and hammer ons. The harder you grip the string against the fret, the less fret wear.

Probably from t'other end of the spectrum .... the one that annoys me the most:   Do __________ and it will result in _________ *.

* i.e. no if/ands/buts, or allowance for individual differences.

Make the fingerboard with a dish in it, that way it will match the sag in the bridge wink now that's even easier.
