Here is a beautiful Slack Key arrangement that I, and Kevin Howard worked up years and years ago. It's in the Taro Patch G Tuning Hawaiian...Jack p.s. Probably shown to me by Sonny Chillingsworth in the 50s...
Later recorded by Ledward Kaapana who in my opinion is a Master at Slack Key Hawaiian Guitar and is thought to have written this tune but who knows in Slack Key Style...? Sonny Chillingsworth worked with Gabby Pahinui for years and wrote many of the well known Slack Key tunes...Sonny was 10 or more years older than Ledward who was born in 1949

I once attended a concert that was called "The Masters Of The Steel String Guitar". The performers were Wayne Henderson, Cal Collins, Ledward Kaapana, and Jerry Douglas. Kaapana played a Martin D18 and Douglas played a Dobro. Hawaiian music on a hillbilly guitar and hillbilly music on a Hawaiian guitar.

I missed a great show. Jerry Douglas is so fantatsic on Dobro. He can also play banjo, piano, great acoustic guitar. He even made an album with Chet Atkins....p.s. I love your work Wayne and that's why I like to play with your tabs....very best, Jack
