Duralast (Autozone) is a great wiper.
I've also let Prompto put on whatever they offer with fine results.
They offer a "Summer" and heavier "Winter" set.

The prices on wipers is just STUPID !!! I think I’ve had Rain X on my truck.
Work good but don’t last but a year or maybe two. The ice and freezing snow we get is hard on them though.

Removing any ice from the windshield before turning on the wipers adds a lot of time to wiper life.
If you can hear that "brush" sound when you turn on the wipers you have harmed the rubber.

I bought some inexpensive ones at AutoZone and they weren't worth a hoot, so I replaced them with ones from Costco ..... Michelin, I think. They may vary from store to store, as I think some now sell BF Goodrich, but mine were definitely in a blue and yellow sleeve.

I change 'em  a couple of times a decade ... IF/when I see a good sale on at Princess Auto [similar to Harbor Freight].   In fact they're on for $6.99 right now, so if we happen to be near a P.A. store .... and they appear to be the correct mount, I can see 2026 being "the year." 

Kinda the same principle/schedule/?? I apply w.r.t. banjo strings.  

No…it’s definitely not too much to ask….but unfortunately….it is.

They all suck.

But….if and when I do buy blades…I just get the “RAINX” brand…they last a season, and seem to do a good job.

All the rest are just hype. The very expensive like Bosch…aren’t any better.

The summer set at Prompto used to cost $15 each and I think I paid about $17 each for the Duralast ones at Auto Zone.
Serious winter driving here from November through March.I always warm up my windshield to melt anything on it before turning on the wipers.
On heavier ice I pour warm water on the idling car's windshield to get rid of all traces of ice/sleet before wipers' movement.

I bought this Hyundai Accent new in '18 and put on the second replacement wipers last April.

It's good to buy 2 sets when you get your new ones.You never know when one might go to pieces on a late night trip,somewhere out in the boonies.

Check RockAuto.Com for wipers as they have a great selection. Including shipping, they're typically le$$ than what you'll pay at an department or auto parts store.

Nice to have choices.

I find the attachment rigging on most wiper replacements nowadays cheap black plastic that can break while attaching them or removing them, and butt ugly. That said, I just want a good wipe! brad

Silicone is the magic word

I usually try to find whatever OEM is and use that.

My Once Was once told me an off colored joke about windshield wipers that I am tempted to repeat here, but I don't want to corrupt young minds. I will leave it your imagination. :0)

AutoZone has a veteran's discount.
I like the quality of their stuff.
They even test your alternator for free.

i normally use rain-x they last as long as most and clean well.

Project Farm on YouTube has a great video comparing windshield wipers. I think the more expensive ceramic Bosch wipers were the best but it’s a video worth watching.
