In regards to Paul's issue, I see that some areas of BHO call a profile by member id#, and other areas of BHO call a profile by user name.

The only difference between the two Pauls is that plus sign "+" in the user name. When the profile is called for by username, the Canadian Paul is Paul+R. The other Paul is PaulR. Somewhere along the way the plus sign is being deleted and landing on the PaulR page.

So, Eric, where in your code is the plus sign being cleaned / removed? That's where you should look. You don't need to replicate the problem. That's the problem.

That + sign issue is new to me. The difference, from my perspective, is that I have a space between Paul and R.

Anyway, the problem still persists.

Maybe I could change to my full name, or ad my middle initial, or something like that and see if things change? I really don't want to, but perhaps a temporary change and change back? Let's see.

I tried tagging you Paul and it comes up with Paul Roberts...

The plus sign "+" is substituted for a space during URL encoding. Somewhere in the code the info is URL encoded and thus, the plus sign as a spaceholder for the space. Elsewhere in the code, spaces are stripped out.

I've tried to PM 3 members about banjos they have posted in the "For Sale" classifieds without a response from any of them. Saw that Hangouts is on a new server so this could be due to that.

I doubt it.  We have not had many complaints about members not being able to contact sellers.  It's possible your PMs ended up in their spam folder or they're out of town, too busy to answer right now, they might be ill.... all sorts of reasons why people don't answer PMs.  

Eric will probably check it out to be sure.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for,and it can not be displayed..

Fwiw..the first display said it was a 505-internal server error...displayed..n then changed to 500 on it's own..

Looks like it got fixed some way, as Liz posted some beautiful food pictures.

Liz's phone is not the problum..

It is my account that has the issue..

A quick Google search says that a 505 or 500  notice has to be fixed at the servers end of things..

But I do thank you for paying attention on this matter....

I deleted some old pics..n it seems to have fixed the issue.. :0)

Great! Glad to hear the problem is fixed.  Guess there's a limit on how many pictures you can keep in your media file.

Am recuperating, yesterday was awful, today is a little better. This, too, shall pass.
