'Way back on a construction outfit, a "mix" of heights worked okay for hanging drywall ... I did the upper part and the shorter guys the lower part. Went home for Christmas one year ... came back to the bottom half all done and the top half left for me. ![]()
Didn't work so well working on ceilings from a scaffold though ... platform was uncomfortably high for me and too low for the others. Ah well, ya win some, ya lose some and some ... etc.
Nuthin' to do with your floorboards ^^ Al, but I'm reminded of a bit of [extended] family lore from many decades back. One of my aunts/uncles/cousins did a fair bit of "moving around" due to their economic circumstances. One of their houses [rental? ...or maybe even free?] had gaps between the floorboards and they noticed that apparently a skunk was interested in taking up residence, as they could see its hair sticking up through. My aunt toot-de-sweet showed it who's boss with boiling water.
