I Googled "Marine SEA huts" but mostly came up with "over water bungalows" for tourists.  Somethin' tells me that's not what you were building. wink

[Fwiw, I'm not putting $$ on my calculations ... I'm getting to the age/stage where sometimes obvious things aren't that obvious.]

I should have said 16 sheets for the floor instead of 32, but as I recall we used a lot more than 16 sheets.  We also fabricated the walls, using 8' - 2x4 studs and sheathed then with 4 x 8 plywood, so I think that was about 10 more sheets as the solid part of the walls were only 4' high (laid sideways) with the rest being screen.  We also used several sheets to enclose the ends of the hut, so the total was probably about 32 sheets ...... just not for the footprint.

Here is a photo for one.

My Thomas mill was set up for 20',but I had to take a dozen trees to a great old mill 10 miles up the road.He cut them 22' for rafters and charged me .20 ib/ft because I had my own 20' trailer (nascar style) and they were my trees.
That was in 2003.

Looks good from here. I tell people I do rustic very well. That is my forte.
Eliminates a lot of potential for people to critique my work.
