Cabinking's homepage is open. It shows 3 classified ads. One has sold (not the bridge) and one is still active (banjo) but the bridge doesn't show up at all. I can't find it in either active or sold.
Looks like you've been scammed. In the future, please NEVER use the friends and family to pay for anything. That's definitely a red flag.
I'm locking his account and posting him as a spammer. If I'm wrong, I'm sure he'll let me know and make good on his agreeing to sell to you. We'll see.

Just because he insisted you use PayPal friends and family does not necessarily make him a spammer. So far, I've received no other reports on him trying to sell anything to anybody. His IP looks okay and he hasn't posted any classified ads.
I will watch his account and see if we get any other complaints. If so, then I may agree he's a spammer and lock him out. So far, he hasn't broken any rules.

He went quiet when I wanted to pay goods and services plus the 3%. No communication since then. He wanted friends and family or nothing.

Thanks for the heads up. I looked at him this morning and the IP seemed odd. Glad you let me know. He's now locked out.

Just tried to sell me a Maple Ridge Rickard banjo. Gave me a price that seemed too good to be true. I asked for pictures and they sent them to me. I did a quick Google image search and the pictures were from an old listing of a banjo that was previously sold by someone else. I asked to have a phone call and to use a payment that would offer buyer protection and they went silent. I have reported it. Remember folks… if the price seems too good to be true… it probably is. I also noticed they only joined a month ago and that was a red flag too.
