More About Me
I really enjoy watching someone learn the banjo. Each and every student learns at a different pace. The biggest piece of advice I can give to anyone is to take the time to practice. Everyday. I don't teach full time so I don't have a "fixed" schedule. I can be flexible with lesson times. Most lessons are around 30 minutes. I have spent an hour on a lesson just to make sure the student can practice the lesson correctly. It does no good to learn something new and practice it all week, just to find out you're doing it wrong at the next lesson. It's harder to break bad habits and relearn something a different way. I know from experience and it can discourage and frustrate new students. No matter what your skill level is you can always learn something from someone else.
