Started pickin' a long time ago-the hard way-playing by ear. Learned to read tab and combined both styles to blend what I hear with what I see on tab. I started building resonator guitars and parts from carbon fiber a few years ago and am currently trying to grow it into a retirement business. I really love teaching as well. I can teach anyone the basics of banjo techniques, reading tab, and jamming etiquite. It's all up to the student on how far they want to go. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE ! - BUT - enjoy what you're doing along the way or it's not worth doing at all.
