Started as a straight ahead rip-off of a Monroe version (with Kenny Baker and banjoist I can't recall) and, I think, Butch Robins' version on 40 Years Late. It was 30 years ago when I was trying to first pick it out so forgive me if my facts are as iffy as my playing...

Lots of neat stuff in there. The basic version goes back to Snuffy Jenkins and others even before Earl, but you have slipped in a bunch of other little surprises. Nice.

I really like the quirkiness of this. It's very steady and it would be so scary sped up. I love the octaves. Get the metronome and get this up to speed. It really is quite impressive and unique. GREAT BANJO BY A MASTER.
