A little of this and a little of that. Thanks to Randal for help with Part B and the single string stuff. If I'd have practiced it for another day or two I probably could have pulled it off close to perfect but it's a pretty accurate representation of where I'm at as is.

I think this is an old Grisman tune but I've never heard anyone play it except for the guitarist I'm jamming with.

I'm not much of a singer (yes I have a strong sense of the obvious) but I've always loved this song and I felt like singing tonight. Thought about trying to halfway do it justice with GargageBand but that would have been akin to work so...

This is what I remember of Carl Jackson's version as taught to me by Randal Morton in the fall of '78;. I can't begin to do either Carl's or Randal's playing justice but I love trying...

Re-learned this one over the weekend. It was my dad's favorite of the tunes I played way back in the late 70s. I like it more now than I did back then. Who knows why?

Started as a straight ahead rip-off of a Monroe version (with Kenny Baker and banjoist I can't recall) and, I think, Butch Robins' version on 40 Years Late. It was 30 years ago when I was trying to first pick it out so forgive me if my facts are as iffy as my playing...

An old Carl Jackson tune taught to me by Randal Morton some 30 plus years ago. Haven't heard the original in almost that long and haven't tried to play it in eons either. It's a pretty tune. This is the best I could do on short notice and with nothing to refer to but burned out brain cells.
