Learned from fiddler Joe Moore. Comes from the playing of Luther Davis and Roscoe Parish via Alice Gerrard. (Previously posted here under the title "Name that Waltz" before I figured out what the name was.) aDADE

Don't know the name but you play it beautifully. Ain't waltzes fun on the banjo? Thanks for posting this.

A lovely tune - I don't know the title but it does sound extremely Irish. Your banjo certainly has a sweet tone.

Mighty pretty playing there! I confess I was skeptical at first about not playing it fingerstyle but this is solo, not backup as Brad & I do with A's fiddling of Luther's tunes, & it's just got everything you want in a banjo tune-- beautiful tone, rhythm & timing.

OT banjo at it's best. Very bittersweet and expressive. Thank you for contributing this to the thread.
