Herb Alpert's great tune from his Tijuana Brass days. I love his music! My wife, Lynn, is on bass and I'm on banjo and guitar. (No, I didn't modulate to Bb at the end...) ;^)

Bill--I think I figured it out. Thanks--Cornflake--except for your basic roll in the tune.

Howdy, Michael
Thanks for the nice comments. I play be ear, so I don't have any tab for this. I just worked it up in the key of A. The only recording I have of the Tijuana Brass playing it, was in G# !!! Shades of Flatt & Scruggs' early recordings! Anyway, I opted for A rather than G just because I thought it sounded better in A.
I'm sorry I can't even tell you about the roll in the tune...I just picked what seemed to fit. :^) I know there's some forward/backward in there and maybe some square rolls once in awhile. I'm really trying to play the melody out of a chord, if that's of any help.
Thanks again, for the nice comments on "Lonely Bull."

Very unusual and nice. My favorite part is the ending where you repeat the phase several times.

Thanks for the nice words, Dave. I tried to do the ending just as the Tijuana Brass recorded the tune: repeating the last phrase as the volume fades out.
Take care,
Bill

I like your style. I'm to the point, when I see one of your songs on jukebox, I click on it right away .
