The first time I tried to post this there was some sort of problem on the playback - maybe not now. Anyway - I had said this was only an unfinished "C" thing that I was more or less playing around with on my new ProTools setup. Don't have any idea where to take the tune yet but I SURE don't have any idea about how to use protools....but I had fun layering two banjos, keyboard, shaker and junk...I call it the Big Trees only because I was watching an old Kirk Douglass movie by the same name..... I'll get around to finishing it sooner or later so it won't be so repetitive but for now, it is a good little excercise thing in double C tuning.

Nice tune, Scooter. This reminds me a lot of a song I saw Jens Kruger do in concert a few months back... I mean, a lot. Have you heard him recently?

Thanks -- but actually I have nothing by Jens Kruger and have never seen him play -- that is, other than a couple of YouTube videos and hes a wonderful player for sure.......So I sure would be interested in whatever song you are talking about if its on a recording.....But I like playing in double C and have messed around with it off and on for several years with clawhammer and 3 finger. C tuning is also very nice on the guitar. I have some posted on my MySpace Site. But thanks again....
By the way - I used to date a girl that is now a State Farm agent in Simpsonville -- Paula White -- a great person!
