Nice Job! I slaughtered this song in a jam last Thursday night. Now I know what the banjo is supposed to sound like on House of the Rising Sun.

You play and sing with a lot of soul. As with the other tune-great job!

Great job, I would just say this: own it, i.e., change the lyric back to the original poor "girl", which gets back to the original meaning of the song. I hear the Animals lyrics ("on the drum" instead of "on the drunk"), but the song is more sinister and sadder than the Animals lyrics, actually quite startling. I love the energy of this version. The last line is a nice twist, and owning it, which is precisely what I am driving at. Great job.
Why do they call it the house of the rising sun? Own it.

You have an rock solid intro on that banjo. Its a real odd way to play. I like it. I wish there was more myspace website with you, maybe I'd hear more music from you! Or please just add in some tunes :) . Keep dobro sound. It goes good with the tone of your voice. Please add some more !
