Mick, what a right on tune. So true what you say about love and whiskey knockin' you off your feet. What I took from this song is that it is a song of hope and moving forward. As you said "opening doors". Well done. Is that you playing piano as well? Very nice melody and chorus lines.

thanks for the comments steve, you are so right it was a way to get myself back on the move, started playing banjo after it was finished, the song that is,piano is a sample i,m afraid,all home made i play guitar and now a little banjo,thanks again. mick

Mick this song is awesome, I managed 24 years, there is a lot of heart felt feeling in your song, certainly makes me think back to the past.
