For the Tune of the Week, 9/28/18, Pretty Polly is an old, old song with other titles and many lyrics. I listened to Ralph Stanley with Patty Loveless and to Abigail Washburn with Bela Fleck's banjo, so this arrangement modulates in sawmill tuning as I imagine Willie and Polly having their depressing conversation.

Cool use of modulation Janet.

Nice. I had only heard Dr. Ralph’s version up to now. You brought considerably more to the table. I’m suspecting you might be enjoying this extra banjer time without that pesky day job crap interfering!

Good to hear from you Greg, Rick and Ken. We have our own styles, don’t we, but enjoy each other’s music. Musical spice!
