Trying to play a melody with three eighth-note Ds in a row using a back-of-the-thumb lick. It works OK some of the time but melts down the fourth time through. The song is by Billy Bragg, written to unused lyrics by Woody Guthrie. Sorry for the poor recording quality, the nice mic is elsewhere at the moment. I think this was played on my A-scale Gold Tone.

I just listened to all your tunes that are up...really, really nice playing. Why didn't you sing this one? I was looking forward to hearing a song. - by the way...I'm not sure it's really accurate to call these songs "unused" lyrics by Woody...I think they're more lyrics to songs that were never recorded, so no-one knows what the music was (since Woody didn't write music notation).
