Two Irish Jigs played as a medley on the 5-string banjo. On guitar is maestro Gabriel Donohue from Athenry, and on bodhrán is Robbie Walsh from Dublin. In this rendition notice the fretting- and picking-hand ornamentation that I got from listening to uilleann pipers and tin whistle players. The banjo is way out front in the mix. This recording matches the tablature, indicating picking-hand choices, and is intended for students at all levels. With gratitude to Mel Bay for letting me upload this here, another sample from my first book/CD, Complete Book of Irish & Celtic 5-String Banjo - find it here: http://www.melbay.com/Products/95759BCD/complete-book-of-irish--celtic-5string-banjo.aspx
