Much appreciated Doug. Ike, I'm using an ancient (condenser?) mic (from many PCs ago) that has a 3.5 mm plug that I plug into the mic port for the onboard sound chip on the motherboard of my current PC. I record into Audacity and usually just use the leveler and amplifier in that program.
