I recorded this in the Spring of 2007. The musicians helping me are: Ed Pickett, mandolin; Dwayne Tew, guitar; David Wilfing, bass; Cassidy Koonce, fiddle. The banjo is a 1988 Gibson RB-3 re-issue. It is a mahogany banjo, with a 5-Star head and a Snuffy Smith bridge.

Clean, and MEAN! Love your version, and especially that 3rd break Mike. (Thanks for the lesson!!) Your CD is still in my Escape, and the "Repeat" button is on when Pike County Breakdown comes on. Thanks Mike!

Thanks again for the kind comments. I was only 61 when that was recorded, so as I approach 70, I don't think I'm likely to do it any better. Might as well put it out
there, warts and all.
