Hobo Pie (Carl Baron, Barbara Johnson, Ray Frick and Bob Woodcock) recorded Eddie Fox's "Good Bye Liza Jane" (1871) in June, 2000 for our first CD "We Might as Well Be Dead".

Wonderful performance by Hobo Pie. How did you learn it? From the 1871 sheet music?

No, I originally learned it from the transcription and verses in Ira Ford's book. That's how I began to suspect that it was sheet music and that some words were missing and jumped at the opportunity when the Library of Congress first digitized some sheet music.
