I've been messing with my Fostex MR-8HD recording machine over the past week as I had a little time. Someone asked me about the Don Reno tune Sockeye. I never really played it so I decided that would be a good song to learn and record so I could practice using the Fostex. I've had the machine for several years but could never find the time to really learn how to use it. Anyway, I had a lot of fun messing around with this tune.

I like the variety of styles and licks in the arrangement, very nice. The banjo tone is also a lot like Don Reno's, which of course is fitting.
