This style of clawhammer I really only use on stage. Very little melody is played except in the break. I got this song from my dad, who got it from my grandma, who probably got it from the Osborne Brothers.

A very fine peformance. This reminds me of the recording made by Woody Guthrie, Cisco Houston and Sonny Terry for Folkways, back in the 40s. We pickers often forget that folks actually sometimes use banjo to accompany singing! Who would of thought it?
