Well, I think I'm usually living in the mountain music era of the early 1900's. This tune makes me feel like I could have been in the Gold Rush era of the 1850's! So when was the tune actually written?

Janet, I missed your comment. The song was written in the early 1900s, late '20s, I think.
Thanks Bart. The Trvais-like picking gives it a ragtime feel, for sure.
