Here's my poor man's clawhammer on a couple of Old tunes. I'm actually picking 3 finger style but the results sound a little clawhammerish....

Nice! Ray Sutton is right -- crystal clear. I've been fooling around with the 3 finger/clawhammer thing a bit too. Nick Hornbuckle of the Jaybirds showed students a version at the BC Bluegrass workshops a year ago. It would be great to see a bit of the tab for that to make sure I'm on the same page as you. Nice banjo, whatever it is - Huber?

thanks for the comments. The banjo is an old 30's style 11 conversion.

Royce - I've never been too much of a fan for the clawhammer sound...some of it just sounds cluttered to me. But your conversion of it sounds real
good...I love it. Also, all of your tunes and your excellent playing gets me motivated and makes me get off my butt and pick. I noticed you posted
yourself a Novice...If you're a novice, then I must be a one cell omega - thanks - pruitt.
