I made this recording back in June to celebrate one year of toting a banjo around and I decided I should add it to the musical journal I've been keeping on my Hangout page. It's fun to be able to listen back. I hear things I'd like to improve in the months ahead but I'm happy with how things are going and, more importantly, I'm just happy playing the thing. : ) I learned this tune from one of David Bragger's YouTube videos.

Skillful playing! I understand this song title refers to those who patrolled on southern plantations.

Real nice job on this. I remember Bragger's video on this and I think I even commented that I liked his instructional style. Fine playing for only one year in.
