Genre: Unknown/None Chosen / Playing Style: Bluegrass (Scruggs)
This is our impression of what might result from Ralph Stanley and jazz legend Ray Brown being stranded together at an airport, in Hawaii, during a blizzard. I got the tune from the old Tony Trischka album, "Bluegrass Light." It also appears on Tony's compilation album "The Early Years." After hearing the opening guitar solo, I had a notion that the tune might work on the baritone ukulele. I had to completely rewrite the harmony, since my uke has two fewer strings than a guitar. I used my banjo picks, and a played it in a pseudo-Chet Atkins-style. Personnel: Baritone Ukulele - Frank M. Wing III, Double Bass - Robert Hall
