Met up with Hangout member Gradleyduck on Sunday who very kindly lent me the tab for this - it's very much a first attempt, but hopefully it sounds reasonably ok (it was recorded on my phone, so not the best quality). Jane C has already uploaded a nice version of this, and she's inspired me to have a go. I'm trying to work on the next bit which involves fast movements up and down the neck but I'm severely hampered by sending my improvised 5th string capo (the top off an old biro) whizzing across the room when I get a bit too enthusiastic!

Pretty, and one I've never heard before. If that's just the first part, hopefully you'll do a complete recording, too.

Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement, it's very much appreciated. Yes, Janet, I'm working on the full version so hopefully I'll be posting that soon when I get it to sound something like it should.
tofte32, thank you - as to the voice, well - no, although I'm not averse to belting out a song when I'm alone in the car or in the shower, but it's certainly not for public consumption. Ply me with a bit of alcohol though, and some switch in my brain makes me think I'm a sort-of Dolly Parton/Shirley Bassey hybrid!!! It's far worse than my banjo playing, and that's saying something!!!

I like your playing. It's very good and has a really nice, flowing feeling.

I echo Paul's comments above Debs, you've cracked it girl. Your voice is a cross between Dolly and Shirley eh... now that's got to be broadcast..!!
