a quick version of Flannery's Dream in A, played on a Cedar Mountain D model banjo. This version pairs a bit of John Hartford's A part with Santford Kelly's B part, though I'm not sure I ever get that B part right, or if Santford ever played it the same way twice.

I like it! You get great sustain on that high note in your unique B part.

Crazy good! I don't know how many times Santford Kelly played it this way, but he should have done at least once and everyone else from now on.

That was really good! But I thought you should hit that high a few times instead of resting. De gustibus and all that. Anyways, I'm gonna steal off you some 'cause I've been working on this & the B part is defeating me...

Thanks folks! I agree with you kenelk and bd. The B part is funky, risky, and maybe not yet everything I'd like it to be. It was hard enough to get the timing to match up to what Santford (sometimes) does, now I need it to sound a bit fuller while maintaining the timing. Look for revised recordings in the future.
