Genre: Bluegrass / Playing Style: Bluegrass (Scruggs)
Monroe Queener (dobro, harmony vocal), D. Stout (bass, harmony vocal), David Perkins (guitar, lead vocal), Frank Eastes (banjo, harmony). Recorded at practice January 1991 in David Perkin's living room, Knoxville, TN. Practice Tape (c) Frank Eastes. This track was at the end of the cassette tape so is cut off at the end... I had pretty much forgotten about the melodic lead I came up with so it's nice to hear it again :)

Interestingly, the lyrics are almost completely different to the ones I sing with my band

Hey Andy cool thanks for that. I research these tunes as best as I can before posting them, and this tune seems to have a very long history and has passed through lots of different artists. I could not even locate a composer or writer!! I have never heard the lyrics the same way from place to place. It is a cool tune :)
