You continue to show new possibilities in a song that's supposedly been worked to death. Good tone that you've gotten from that banjo modification - a success, for sure.

Thanks guys. I know I keep recording the same few tunes over-and-over. I really need to learn some more music.
But ... besides my lack of repertoire, I do it to facilitate comparison of different banjos. Hope it works.

Really nice John. Is there a particular device or software that you are using that makes your recordings so crystal clear?

Thanks! That was recorded on my PC using free Audacity software and an Audio Technica 4033 mic (through a Blue Icicle USB adapter). That is not my normal studio set-up...but I think it sounds good. The AT4033 mic sounds great in all situations.

John the Dobson ring had a good effect. David E.

Thanks John. I am a clawhammer newbie, in awe f your playing. Maybe I will at some point gather up enough courage to post a tune or two.
