This is a three song medley from Pete Seeger's "How to Play the 5 String Banjo" book. Can you figure out which three songs? This is recorded 6/25/2010 on my Buckeye Banjo. Key of A I think. aEAC#E

A nice reflection from the past, Greg, well done. The first tune is Twelve Gates to the City, the second is Hard Ain't It Hard, and the third is Amazing Grace, although the last is not in my edition of the book, the Third Edition revised from 1962. But very nice just the same. Thanks for posting this.

Nice uncluttered style of playing. Enjoyable, Greg.

Don is right about "Twelve Gates" and also right about "Amazing Grace" not being from the Seeger book. My apologies for misnaming. I've played this three song medley for so long the origins are clouded. My mind is a terrible thing to lose! :-) and thnx both for listening and your comments.
