I learned this tune from Todd Wright. Played on a Brooks banjo in D major aDADE. A really hard tune for me to play but nice when I can get close. A tab close to what I play can be found in John Burke's "Old-Time Fiddle Tunes for Banjo" attributed to a little-known fiddler Doc Roberts and Burke sets it in C.

Doc Roberts is not as obscure now as he was when John Burke wrote his book. Here's a reference: http://www.1001tunes.com/fiddlers/docroberts.html
