My guitar picking friend Kevin just sent me a file of him playing a tune from our old band ... I almost forgot how to play it - LOL ...... Peacock Rag ...we learned this from 90 yr. old fiddler Jody .... I thought that the fishing string banjo - Lin would sound cool on a rag .

This is a lovely recording, sounds like something from Bo Grumpus. This is a great use for Kevin's assertive guitar style and it realy gives you a platform to play off of.

Kevin played this for us when he was here last week, Jimmy. That's when I remembered that you had posted it on your page. I forgot that Kevin was on the recording! Anyway, we love this and we will be learning it. Linda Jo says that she will use her mandocello!
