Early Reggie Hacksenflax Society Dance Band -- Another from the morning of Jan. 9, 1982, with Stan Hall on piano and Bill Price on cornet, two professionals coaching our amateur band in a basement rehearsal. I'm playing my B&D Super tenor in lowered Chicago tuning.

Thanks for the compliment and the stars! Wish the sound quality were better -- this was the same day as "Freezing the Blues," posted below, but on a second cassette of lower tape quality and maybe has lost more electrons over the 28 years. When we started this band in 1980 this was the first tune we worked on (I have tape of our slow, plodding early attempts), and Holbert was the person who taught me to simply keep a solid rhythm in ensemble, not try to play like Eddie Peabody. Thanks to Stan and Bill, this was the best rendition of the tune we'd done so far.
