Ok, I admit it ain't a banjo. It's a five string though. ... a 5 string tenor guitar which is tuned from the bottom up .. F C G D A .. just like a tenor guitar (or banjo) with an added lower string another fifth down. This one happens to be a converted Corrado Giacomel (fine luthier from Genova) Octave Mandola.
