Genre: Bluegrass / Playing Style: Bluegrass (Scruggs)
When I was in my teens my folks bought me a bluegrass album by Jimmy Martin. It was called "Big and Country Instrumentals". I was captivated by the playing and sound of the album. I had listened to Flatt and Scruggs, for the most part and was really surprised to find something else to be mesmerized by. I learned this tune without tuners at first because I didn't even know they existed. Later on I got a pair and incorporated them into this version. This was my first recording with Logic 8 and a new Apogee Duet. I played all the instruments with overdubs (except the drum loop). I think it came out ok. The original version will always be the best.

One of my all time favorite tunes. Great job :-)
