nice job larry sounds good. i'm in the same boat you are, been playing BG style since the early 70's and clawhammer for a few years now. and one thing i noticed is you do what i did a clawhammer friend of mine told me my hammer-ons and pull-offs were BG style in CH style you make them a touch longer i know it's small thing but it does sound better. try it out you'll see what i mean.

I do see what you mean. It's kind of hard to slow them down, but it does give it a more traditional clawhammer sound.

Nice Larry. Love that low part. I learned this song by listening to Dwight Diller. I do it a little slower. My wife plays a fine version on Hammered Dulcimer (yet another version) Nice song!

Thanks Ike. I learned the tune from a video by another BHO member. I can see where slowing it down might not be a bad thing. The low part on the fourth string is something I figured out on my own just trying to add some variety.
