I got the idea for this song from a man I knew who grew up down the road from me. He used to hold a sign out on the interstate exit begging for money. Then pack up and go home down the road to his mama and daddy's house. He wasn't homeless or starving just begging. Now that is not to say that there isn't real people struggling to survive, because there is. This song just throws little humor towards those that aren't really as bad off as it seems. They just need to get things right.
