I tried to find a clip of our Missouri jam with fellow BHO member Don " Whyteman " that featured his banjo playing and not too much wind interference ...Im going to have to be more careful with mics in windy jam situations ... the tune " Red Haired Boy " was called out by the guitar player , so Don and I tried to remember it on the fly , ha . I take responsibilty for the fiddle playing on this one

Thanks for posting this Jimmy. Since I have no music on my page, I think some of the other "Hangers-On" think I'm a poser or banjo stalker or worse. Now I can vindicate myself.
We do sound really good for our first attempt playing together. Wait til we can get together on a regular basis!
Don.

I just listened to this recording again Jimmy, because I wanted to show Tom M. how different your style is from Greg's. Greg's is all "hell for leather"; the driving sound of the session fiddler daring the other musicians to keep up. "Root hog, or die" as they say in the Ozarks! On the other hand, your tune has the lilt of the fiddler playing for the step dancers that you've seen in person up there in Gaspe. I can go both ways on the banjo, but your style has a more sociable element. We'll see if you and Greg are compatable fiddling together or if we have to divide into two groups and rotate musicians around. The time draws near!
