About all the Pike County anyone can handle. Recorded this one a while back, when I owned a few Hubers. Trey (Major banjo now owns the Lexington) Randy Miller (Vintage Series), Danny Gabbard (Lancaster), Shane O'donnel (Kalamazoo). The Hubers are fine banjos.

A veritable cornucopia of theme and variation!  Everything from a straight, traditional rendering to endless lines of melodic runs. I love it, though it may be against the law in some states. Great job, Royce.

Great runs, and really clean picking - cleaner than dare i say it - cleaner than Earl's sounded. Better sustain on the single note picking.

man, i absolutely LOVE the chromatic break you do in this one. I usually dont like chromatic passages because they usually sound inappropriate, or "too much" when i hear others play them. Yours sound great, perfectly fitting and just enough to spice up the section. Ive downloaded it and im trying to figure it out with a slow downer program but its slow going.

thanks alot Rick and Michael. This was done a good while ago but it sure is easier than trying to do it again.

I thought this kicked ass in 2009, and it sounds just as super fine now. Bluegrass picking just don't get any better than this.
