Don't know exactly where this tune came from. I just started playing it on the fiddle one day. I think I must have heard a recording of a version of Debuque somewhere at some time, and then a couple of year's later, out it came It doesn't sound exactly like Debuque, but my firiends like to play it, so they call it Thielk's Debuque. We will be playing it tonight at the square dance as a medley with Camp Meeting on the Fourth of July. Camp Meeting is played first.
