Thanks for the information on the 236. I was looking at a posting on e-bay awhile back that I thought was a 236, but it must not have been. The peg head didn't look anything like this one. I feel the same way about my 237 Iida that I have, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I got mine around 1986 for a $200.00. I had to put a little work into it, but it was well worth it. If you get the time check out my bands web site www.mountainmelody.com. The mandolin player is 11 years old. I use to play the mandolin until she took over. Now I play the banjo with this group.
