I absolutely love the slot head. The whole banjo is possibly the most stunning I have yet seen. What a find. No wonder you snapped it up! I've seen the clips of your great playing on YouTube. You will do this great instrument justice.

What do you mean by "tuner shafts turned down to make a string guide?" As far as I can tell they're mounted just like they would be on a slothead guitar.
