Jack O'Brien of Jaffrey NH made me this Vega-style neck 10 years ago. I sold it to a HO member who saw it and just had to have it. He paid my price, but I wish I had it back.

Yes...maple with a truss rod accessible at the heel. Jack is a no-internet-word-of-mouth-highly talented luthier and not well known outside of New England. He's a very busy guy, though.
