Hey John - looks like Bay of Fundy where Linda & I went a couple of years ago. Makes it tricky to dock a boat ....... Steve - does your boat have training wheels beside the keel ? ;)

John had no way to know,but he was standing on land that used to belong to my family.Our shop would be just out of sight to the right.
That shop was the location of the first lobstermen's co-op,a place where dories were built,a gift shop and an office for a pilot with a Cessna on pontoons w/retractable wheels.
The wharf on the left used to belong to "Block" Thompson,my grandfather's right hand man.
The wharf across the cove is the Port Clyde Fishermen's Co-op,where I sell my lobsters.

Dad sold the shop and house to the artist Malcolm Morley who made the shop into a studio and named it "Dunnett's Landing" which was written of in Sarah Ornn Jewett's novel "Land of the Pointed Firs". She had a home a couple miles up the road.
